Q. How do I get rid of Skunk smell?

The old home remedy we've all heard I'm sure a thousand times before is to wash the family pet in Tomato juice, this may fade the smell very little and leave you with a pet smelling like Skunk and Tomato juice. The most effective recipe is to mix Hydrogen peroxide with water half and half then add some dish soap or any soap with a pleasant smell to it. This should eliminate or weaken the smell enough so it's bearable to have contact with your pet again.

Q. What do you do if there are babies?

If the animal has had it's babies in your roof, the technician will be able to seek them out and remove them from the property. Once the technician have all the babies, they will put them in a safe place close to the entry hole that the mother uses in a heat box if necessary and the mother will move them to an alternative den site.

Q. Can't you take them away?

By law you are only allowed to transport wildlife up to one kilo meter from where it has been removed. There are several reasons for this. The animal may be sick and if relocated it potentially could infect another area of the ecosystem. Also if the animal is nursing young the chance of there survival is minimal as well as the mother's chance of survival it it's new habitat.

The best method is to call a wildlife company, like us, to remove and then seal the home and allow the animals to carry on else where in there natural territory.
